An Odd Acne Home Remedy That Some Say Work

If you search the internet for acne you will come up with millions of hits. It seems that there are just as many “acne home remedies” as there are web pages on the subject matter. Our bodies are so unique from one another that finding that one cure will take a lot of patience and sometimes money. In my research I have come up with an odd solution that most of us wouldn’t think could help us get rid of our acne.

This odd remedy for acne that I found is all about cleansing the colon. Incorporate this treatment into your home acne remedies. Cleaning out the colon can be done either by an Enema or by taking an oral medicine that encourages bowel movement.

For those that don’t know an Enema is when you insert a tube into our rear (as my mom would say) and use water to flush out the built up “junk” in our colon. There are home kits that you can use but if that doesn’t seem safe for your health you can go to a therapist and get a colonic which is a similar procedure.

The oral medicine comes in either a pill or liquid form and can be taken before bedtime so that you can have a bowel movement when you get up the next day. This method isn’t as harsh on the body as a colonic or Enema and it can actually help to strengthen the colon.

The idea behind this logic is that the built up “junk” in our colon is filled with excess toxins and bacteria. This excess can lead to the formation of severe cystic acne.  By keeping our system flushed we can make sure that our waste doesn’t hang around longer than it should. It would also be safe to stay hydrated during this type of cleansing as bowel movements tend to dehydrate the body.

It seems as though people will try just about anything to help get rid of their acne. This really shows that desperate times call for desperate measures. I am not saying that acne is comical as I do realize that it is an affliction that makes most feel unworthy of the public eye. Some testify that this acne home remedy worked for them and who knows it might work for you too?
