Wu-long diet tea is also known as oolong diet tea and originated from Fukien province in China. It is a brew that combines both attributes of green and black tea. You would use diet tea in a similar fashion as you would use lemon juice if you are undergoing a lemon diet. It has a fruity medium body. It has a flavor that echoes the freshness of green tea and is recognized as the most fragrant in the different categories of tea which are black tea, green tea, white tea and Oolong tea.

Black tea undergoes intense fermentation while green tea and oolong tea have minimal withering and oxidation.
